US VP Vance calls H-1B visa workers 'indentured servants'

As the US suspended Microsoft, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCLTech, Capgemini and Adobe from the Permanent Labour Certification programme, US VP JD Vance called H-1B workers "indentured servants". The programme allows companies to sponsor H-1B visa holders for green cards. Vance said Microsoft has been effectively replacing American workers with foreign workers.
