Maha to bring India's 1st land tokenisation framework: CM Fadnavis

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced the Maharashtra Digitisation and Exchange of Land Token Asset (Delta) legislation, described as India's first legal framework for using blockchain to tokenise land and other immovable assets. He made the announcement at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai. Fadnavis said the land assets covered could be worth around ₹50 lakh crore.
