OpenAI expects to spend $50 billion on computing power in 2026, its President and Co-founder Greg Brockman said while testifying during Elon Musk's lawsuit against the firm. He further said that OpenAI's computing costs have risen from $30 billion in 2017 to tens of billions of dollars this year. OpenAI plans to invest $600 billion in total compute by 2030.
