India slips another spot in global stock market rankings as South Korea overtakes it

South Korea has overtaken India to become the world's sixth-largest stock market, driven by a rally in AI-linked chip stocks. South Korea-listed companies' market value jumped 86% this year to $5.04 trillion, while India's stood at $4.84 trillion after falling nearly 9%, data compiled by Bloomberg showed. Earlier, Taiwan had overtaken India with $5.15 trillion m-cap.
