KKR mentor Dwayne Bravo said getting Venkatesh Iyer back in IPL 2025 mega auction was "one of the main priorities for us" and they went "all out" for him. Iyer was bought by KKR for ₹23.75 crore. "It is good that we have 90% of the players from the championship-winning team," he stated. KKR won IPL trophy in 2024.
