PM Narendra Modi met Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday and reiterated India's support for peaceful conflict resolution during discussions on Ukraine and West Asia. Lavrov briefed PM Modi on bilateral cooperation progress since PM Modi's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2025. The meeting took place during Lavrov's visit to India for BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
