South Korea's ​parliament on ‌Tuesday approved the appointment of ​Han Seong-sook as the country's next Prime Minister following Kim Min-seok's resignation. Seong-sook is the former CEO of South ​Korean internet ​giant Naver and has been serving as the minister of SMEs and Startups since 2025. If formally appointed, she will become South Korea's second female PM after Han Myeong-sook.
