Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan has approved the merger of seven AAP MPs, including Raghav Chadha, Harbhajan Singh and Swati Maliwal, with BJP. This comes after more than 2/3 of AAP MPs in the House decided to leave the party to join BJP. The move has increased BJP's strength in the Upper House from 106 to 113.
