LS Speaker Om Birla holds bilateral talks with Russian Duma chairman

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla held bilateral talks with Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, on Sunday. Birla said closer cooperation among the parliaments of BRICS countries would help address global challenges. He also called for reform of the UN Security Council and thanked Moscow for supporting India’s bid for permanent membership.
