India has ordered shipowners, ship managers and recruitment companies not to deploy Indian seafarers ​on vessels passing through the Strait of ‌Hormuz. This comes after at least two Indian seafarers were killed in the last few days as the US-Iran war resumed in the region. The order also directed masters of the vessels to ​remain vigilant about the ​security ⁠situation.
