Palantir CEO Alex Karp criticised OpenAI and Anthropic, accusing them of trying to "drug addict" enterprises to models they control. Speaking to CNBC, Karp warned against surrendering corporate intellectual property to closed ecosystems. He advocated for "open-weight AI models" and emphasised that businesses must retain control over their proprietary data, infrastructure and core technologies.
