BJP and its allies on Monday won Assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry. The BJP and its allies now control governments in 22 states/UTs. They are Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, UP, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Delhi and Puducherry.
