An eight-point safety framework has been issued in Delhi after a 25-year-old biker fell into a Delhi Jal Board pit and died in Janakpuri. The framework mandates clear warning signs and robust barricading at work sites, with reflector lights, blinkers and luminous tapes in excavated areas. An audit of all ongoing and recently completed excavation works has also been ordered.
