Karnataka Congress MLA Vijayanand Kashapanavar said Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) must provide five tickets of IPL to each MLA. He stated that the cricket body should make separate seating arrangements for the legislators as MLAs are "VIPs" and "cannot stand in queue". Notably, first match of IPL 2026 will be played between RCB and SRH in Bengaluru on Saturday.
