After police opposed the bail pleas of the Delhi riots accused Sharjeel Imam and Umar Khalid, Delhi High Court said, "We can't give you endless time, this has to end." The court made the remarks after Delhi Police counsel requested two days to make further submissions. The court had asked for a chart on the individual roles of each accused.
