Strait of Hormuz could begin opening for commercial shipping in a few days, as US and Iran announced a peace deal. Although a complete return to normal shipping is likely to take longer, the strait will be opened for mine removal after the deal is signed on June 19. The deal says the waterway must be opened within 30 days.
