World's biggest domain seller, GoDaddy, warned that India's fake website crackdown could make internet less safe for legitimate businesses. The move follows a court order blocking over 1,100 fake websites and requiring domain registrars to end default privacy protection and disclose owner details within 72 hours to eligible requesters. GoDaddy has challenged the directives in the Delhi High Court.
