France's economy recorded zero growth in January-March 2026, the national statistics agency INSEE said on Thursday. It attributed the nil growth to "sluggish" domestic demand and a "strongly" negative contribution from foreign trade amid the Middle East war. France's inflation also jumped by 2.2% YoY, days after French Finance Minister Roland Lescure said he expected inflation to remain limited.
