India's gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 13.9% year-on-year to ₹1.95 lakh crore in June, government data showed. The GST collection was higher than the ₹1.94 lakh crore collected in May. The gross GST revenue from domestic transactions in June increased 6.5% year-on-year to ₹1.35 lakh crore as revenue from imports rose 34.6% year-on-year to ₹60,038 crore.
