India opener KL Rahul smashed a century in India’s first innings of the Test match against Afghanistan in New Chandigarh on Saturday. It was Rahul’s 12th Test century and his first against Afghanistan. He reached the three-figure mark off 164 deliveries and struck 11 fours during his innings. The 34-year-old was dismissed on very next ball after completing his hundred.
