Woman ignores 4 tax notices, faces ₹1.55-cr additions over unexplained money

For AY 2020-21, Jusbinder Kour declared ₹10.41 lakh income. The Assessing Officer later added ₹80.94 lakh as unexplained cash deposits/credits and ₹74 lakh for unexplained property investment. After Kour failed to respond to four CIT(A) notices, her appeal was dismissed. Delhi ITAT set aside that order and remanded the case for fresh adjudication, without deciding the additions’ merits.
