Israel’s Ministry of Defence has signed a deal worth about $48 million to procure tens of thousands of 155mm artillery shells from Elbit Systems. The agreement is being led by the Deputy Head of the Defence Procurement Directorate (DPD) for Land Procurement. It aims to boost domestic arms production and reduce reliance on foreign suppliers amid regional instability.
