Investors to get 295% returns on early redemption of Series VI gold bonds
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has opened the early redemption window for the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) 2019-20 Series-VI, fixing the payout at ₹14,931 per unit. Investors can exit from April 30. At this price, returns would be around 295%, which means an investment of ₹1 lakh in 2019 would fetch nearly ₹3.95 lakh on redemption.
