Northern Railway signs MoU with IGL to switch to PNG

Northern Railway signed an MoU with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) to replace 500 kg LPG and 2,500 litres diesel consumed daily across 22 establishments with piped natural gas (PNG). Initial consumption is estimated at 3,000 SCMD (Standard Cubic Meters per Day), expected to rise to 8,000–10,000 SCMD. The deal covers Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar under National PNG Drive 3.0.
