Google has expanded its AI research project, Project Genie, allowing users to turn real-world locations into interactive virtual environments. Powered by Google Street View, the system uses information such as location, style and characters to create an imaginative world, with its starting location tied to Street View's real-world imagery. The feature currently supports locations across the US.
