Lovkesh Bajaj, owner of Delhi's Flourish Stay B&B, told investigators he was near the property when the fire broke out but fled out of fear, multiple reports stated. He further stated that he spent hours wandering the streets instead of returning home until the police traced him. The blaze claimed at least 21 lives and is under investigation.
