Trump honours Nadella hours after Microsoft green card suspension

US President Trump awarded Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella the National Medal of Technology and Innovation on Thursday, hours after VP JD Vance suspended Microsoft from an employment-based green card programme. Vance accused Microsoft of laying off 6,000 Americans while securing 6,300 H-1B visas. Microsoft defended its visa applications, saying 80% were for existing employees.
