Meta launches new AI model that runs agentic tasks on PC with 1 GPU

Meta has launched Muse Glimmer, a 30-billion-parameter open-weight AI model capable of running agentic tasks on a PC with a single consumer GPU. The model can handle a range of tasks, including local coding, multi-step reasoning and precise tool calling. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company will soon release the weights for Muse Spark 1.2, its latest foundation model.
