CM Vijay's TVK-led bloc named ‘Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance’

Tamil Nadu's ruling party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), and its allies have named their coalition the "Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance" (SSJVA). Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president B Manickam Tagore said the name reflects the alliance's ideals and agenda. The coalition will jointly contest bypolls for three Assembly seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the leaders said.
