Atanu Chakraborty has announced that he is resigning as the part-time Chairman and Independent Director of HDFC Bank. "Certain happenings and practices within the bank, that I have observed over last two years, are not in congruence with my personal values and ethics," the ex-ministry of finance secretary wrote in his resignation letter. Chakraborty had joined the bank in 2021.
