Lokhandwala market lights up again for Diwali after 2025 break

After skipping Diwali decorations in 2025 due to poor sales, Lokhandwala Vyapari Mandal in Andheri West has illuminated the entire 800-metre market stretch with string lights this year. Around 60% of shopkeepers pooled ₹10,000–14,000 each, citing improved footfall and returning customers as key reasons for reviving the tradition.
