India win 7th gold medal at Asian Games 2026

India won gold in the women's compound archery team event at Asian Games 2026, with Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Chikitha Taniparthi and Prithika Pradeep defeating China 238-234 in the final. India had edged South Korea 234-233 in the semifinal earlier on Wednesday. India have now won seven gold medals at the ongoing Games so far.
