CJI Surya Kant rejects Rahul Gandhi's request for meeting over SIR & CEC

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant has rejected the request of Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi for a meeting over SIR and CEC Gyanesh Kumar, reports claimed. In a reply to LoP's official email, the CJI said that such a meeting would be inappropriate, as the issues sought to be raised are already sub judice before the Supreme Court.
