Several students of the outgoing 2026 batch at the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) university have urged the administration to reconsider CJI Surya Kant as the chief guest at its convocation. The students cited his remarks over the Jantar Mantar protests in their letter. The university has reportedly not confirmed the CJI as the chief guest.
