The ICC has pledged to fund US players to ensure they can continue preparations for the T20 World Cup 2026. The ICC suspended USA Cricket in September, citing failures to implement a functional governance structure, among other reasons. The US national teams, however, retained their right to compete in ICC events and continue preparations for the Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
