A Bangladeshi man was shot dead by the Border Security Force (BSF) during a smuggling attempt at Latiapura Border outpost in Tripura on Friday. He was shot after some people assaulted a BSF constable who spotted bags being thrown across the border from Indian territory. Police said the man's body has been shifted to a district hospital for post-mortem.
