Eleven-year-old Indian-origin Bodhana Sivanandan has become Britain's number one female chess player. Sivanandan, whose FIDE rating now stands at 2366, replaced four-time British women's champion Lan Yao as Britain's top female chess player. Sivanandan has also entered the world's top 100 women chess rankings for the first time, currently placed at number 72.
