India is examining the possibility of a direct oil pipeline with UAE to reduce dependence on the Strait of Hormuz, a report from Moneycontrol said. The focus is to build a resilient supply chain for the next 20-30 years, the report added. Nirmala Sitharaman had said in March that 90% of India's LPG imports come from Strait of Hormuz.
