NASA has announced plans to spend around $20 billion over the next seven years to build a permanent base on the Moon. "America will never give up the Moon again," NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said, adding that the country will "win the second space race". He also unveiled plans to launch a nuclear-powered spacecraft to Mars before 2028's end.
