Women who have antagonistic narcissistic traits like entitlement and exploiting others find it difficult to forgive others, a study has found. Such women are more likely to avoid someone who had hurt them and less likely to show goodwill toward that person. The difficulty in forgiving others may sometimes be driven by quick and automatic interpersonal reactions.
