Bengaluru's 17-year-old Divaa Uthkarsha has been named in Forbes 30 under 30 Asia for social impact. When she was 13, her younger brother was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, which led her to launch Project Surya. The project aims to raise awareness and ensure funding for low-income families battling Type 1 diabetes, a lifelong condition that requires daily insulin therapy.
