Ex-UK Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is not the first member of British monarchy who has faced legal action. Princess Anne, who is King Charles' sister, was earlier convicted of a criminal offence after her dog bit two children in a park in 2002. Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall was banned from driving for six months in 2020 after being caught speeding.
