Illegal midnight mining has been uncovered at Rajasthan's Kotputli part of Aravalli Ranges, amid Supreme Court's verdict on the mountains, reported Republic. Despite rules against mining close to residential areas and post-sunset, video shows 7-8 excavators and dumper trucks' violation by digging 40-50 metres away from homes. As per locals, mining causes 2-inch-deep cement deposits in their homes.
