Notice issued to 38-member Iranian family after names appear in J'khand draft voter list

Jharkhand's Garhwa administration has issued notices to 38 members of an Iranian-origin family after their names surfaced during verification of the draft voter roll under Special Intensive Revision. Officials are examining their citizenship and eligibility to remain on the voter list. The family, which has lived in Garhwa for generations, reportedly has voter IDs, Aadhaar and other documents.
