Firm that built ₹4,200-cr Lucknow-Kanpur E-way banned for 3 yrs after repeated cave-ins

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) banned PNC Infratech and its subsidiary, Awadh Expressway Private Limited, for three years after repeated cave-ins at Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway. During this ban, PNC Infratech will be unable to bid for new tenders issued by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and NHAI. The expressway was built at a cost of ₹4,200 crore.
