Experts are warning people against pictures showing the 'peace sign' as AI-powered hackers can steal fingerprint information from them, which poses major security risks. Security expert Li Chang recently showcased how simple it was to do that on a Chinese workplace reality show. Li said it's possible to extract fingerprints from photos taken from within 1.5m of the lens.
