North Korea launched a suspected ballistic missile towards the sea on Saturday, Japan and South Korea have confirmed. The launch of the projectile, which was reportedly fired towards the Sea of Japan, comes as US and South Korea carried out military drills. It appears ​to have fallen outside Japan's exclusive economic ​zone, Japanese broadcaster NHK reported, citing defence ministry sources.
