Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has said that it's "too easy" to make AI the scapegoat for layoffs, adding, "I think for some CEOs, it's the lazy way out." He also shared the three reasons behind job cuts related to AI, i.e, when costs are "too high", financial commitments to data centres and rebalancing the workforce to reflect changes in AI.
