According to a report, Delhi's schools are facing infrastructure strain due to rising student enrolment. Delhi has 5,556 schools serving over 44.9 lakh students, resulting in a high load per institution. On average, there are about 808 students per school, and the number of school buildings is low. The report also stated that 1,089 students are enrolled in single-teacher schools.
