Tensions broke out between AAP chief and ex-CM of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, and Kailash Gahlot, who resigned as AAP member and Delhi minister, over the unfurling of Tricolour on August 15, NDTV reported. With Kejriwal in jail, he green-lit current CM Atishi's name for the event but L-G VK Saxena designated Gahlot for the task. Eventually, Gahlot unfurled the flag.
